From 1988 to 1992, Hepburn traveled to over 50 Third World coun-tries.
Between trips she would give press conferences, make television appearances, perform in charity concerts-anything to make people want to help the dying children of the world.
In 1991, President George Bush gave Hepburn the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor any person can receive in the United States.
Sadly, Audrey Hepburn died on January 20, 1993 at the age of 63.
But her legacy still lives vivdly in our memory.
