he has possible to attack the cat. possibleの場合、主語を人にしちゃいけないというルールがありますがなんでですか？この英文を、自分で作った時普通に訳せました。なんでこれが駄目なのでしょうか？ちなみにこの場合possible は名詞です

そういう言い方はしません He might attack the cat.と言います あいつ、猫をいじめるかも そうすると誰かが Oh, year. it’s possible. ほんと、あり得る と言います

possible は名詞では「物事の可能性、実現性」ですが、その前には必ずthe が要ります。形容詞を形を変えずに名詞にするときはthe を付けるのです。(普通はものの可能性の形容詞はpossible 名詞で可能性はpossibility。 また人を主語にするとき形容詞の可能なは potential、名詞は the potential かpotentiality) he is possible to attack the cat.→× 人が主語のとき補語のpossibleはダメ it is possible for him to attack the cat→◯ he has possible to attack the cat.→× he has the possibility to attack the cat.→× 人は直接の主語になれません。 he has the potential to attack the cat.→◯ he has a potentiality to attack the cat.→◯ potentialは人も主語になれます。

he has possible to attack the cat. 残念乍らこの文は英語に成って居ません。 possible は形容詞ですから此処では使えず, 副詞の possibly でなければならず、仮令 has と to の間にあるとしても have to セネバならぬ と解釈され、ちょっと具合の悪い訳に成ります、よって正確には He will possibly attack the cat. と書いて 彼は多分猫を襲うだろう。の意味に成ります。
